Have you heard about the new democratic strategy to get votes?

In 2008, Barack Obama enlisted the help of ACORN, even after touting he would not rely nor back special interest groups and lobbyists. ACORN is a socialist reform group that, allegedly, registered voters several times for the democratic ticket. Their CEO, Bertha Lewis, even went on record during a talk she was giving to elementary school children, by saying "I'm a socialist". Wow the birds of the same feather flock together, don't they Mr. President.

Today, we are facing a new form of "help" for the democrats. One America Votes, an immigrant voters initiative group, is calling homes of naturalized citizens to get them to vote for Patty Murray, D-WA. She is on record for saying that she supports amnesty and immediate citizenship for all illegal aliens presently in America today. There is also a group of illegal immigrants running around going door to door trying to bring voters to the democratic side. Here's my answer to all of this, as a independant leaning towards libertarian/republican side.

If someone knocks on your door and says, "hello I'm an illegal immigrant" call the police and report them for trespassing. If the police do their job they will find out their illegal immigrant status and send them home. Also, it seems the "One America Votes" group left out an important marque on their website, a founder. Of course I would too if I were a group of illegals in this country. This group in itself should be tracked down and canvassed for illegal immigrants and then deportation immediately to follow.

I believe in the American system. I believe we are being lead down the wrong path. I believe that if you want in this country you have to earn it. I have been to places I was ordered to go for this country, regardless of the pretense of the mission. Coming here illegally is not the best way to start off your road to citizenship. You have started off by breaking the law. Do what it takes legally to become a citizen here like my stepmother did. Get a workers visa, the right way. Renew it when it expires. In the meantime, work towards citizenship like so many others are doing. If not go home.
