Have you heard about the Wounded Warrior Project?

The Wounded Warrior Project is a wonderful agency that helps our men and women returning from war that are disabled by their wounds. Their recent push is legistlation for our Veterans with traumatic brain injuries. My hope and prayer is that veterans can receive the services that they require to return back to normal life. Below is a bill I copied from Woundedwarriorproject.org. If it is in your heart to do so, please ask your elected officials on this election day to pass this bill for our Wounded Heros. Thank you.

Veterans Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitative Services' Improvement Act of 2010
H.R. 6123, the Veterans Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitative Services' Improvements Act of 2010, has bipartisian support and will make critically important changes to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) rehabilitative services programs.

The bill would help by requiring that VA rehabilitative services:
  • be directed towards sustaining improvement in functioning vs. simply improving functioning
  • include any services or supports that could maximize a veteran's independence and quality of life vs. being limited only to services provided by health professionals
