Have you heard that our new supreme justice.....
Our new supreme court justice Elena Kagan has been excused from looking at the first three months of cases presented before the court in the new term. The 21 cases in question are ones that were made while Kagan was the solicitor general for President Obama. For those of you who don't know what the solicitor general is, that person is the head attorney for supreme court cases. Maybe the president should have thought his nomination more clearly before having a conflict of interest between new justice and cases being tried. The affects of this cause more man-hours in the court system and actually cause the lower courts be more empowered due to 4-4 ties. Was this is a smart move?
